"Oleum Cereris" is a superior organic extra virgin olive oil, obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means.
The olive grove is located at an average altitude of 350 meters above sea level.
Harvesting is done by hand. Cold-pressed within 24 hours to ensure the highest level of product quality. The maximum yield of olive oil ranges from 15-20% for every 100 kg of olives.
Bottling respects the protocols for organic certification and each bottle has indication of product traceability.
From the green hills of the ancient Greek colony of Tyndaris we produce a quality oil both in blend, "Nocellara Messina", "Santagatese", "Verdello", "Giarraffa" and "S. Benedetto ", both for purity, the historic local variety "Verdello ".
At nose shows a fruity olive oil medium, with hints of tomato, artichoke and almond. At palate it shows notes of spice and bitterness of medium intensity, with vegetable aftertaste that recalls the fresh grass.
The color is golden-green and the flowability is medium - high.
Its unique balance recommends its use in combination with fish, vegetables, legumes and mozzarella.
The Oleum Cereris is available in bottle 0.10 - 0.25 - 0.50 and 0.75 liter and tin 3.00, 5.00 lt.
